Helen Arnold is well known and very sought after in the South East as a professional harpist and teacher of harp.  She is a freelance harpist, playing throughout the southeast in orchestral and chamber concerts as well as giving solo recitals and

demonstration recitals.  She also plays for functions and weddings in many prestigious venues in the area. Helen is an examiner for ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) for both Grades and Diplomas and a Mentor on the Certificate of Teaching Course for ABRSM. 


She has made a CD entitled 'Fileuse'.


In her spare time Helen is Churchwarden at St Mark's Church Staplefield Common, Vice-Chairman of Governors at St. Mark’s C of E Primary School, Staplefield, and an Additional Governor for West Sussex County Council which involves helping governing bodies when needed.  She is Chairman of the Handcross Rosemary Club and the nominated Child Protection Representative for the United Benefice of St. Mary’s Church, Slaugham with St. Mark’s Church, Staplefield Common.  She is married to Timothy Arnold, retiredf Executive Director of global Operations ABRSM.  They have two grown-up daughters.
